Hello from SewPretty

Hi! I’m Shena Allen, founder of SewPretty Designs, a Black woman-owned business built on creativity, passion, and purpose. What started as a hobby—making unique gifts for friends and family—grew into something more meaningful. I realized I had the power not just to create beautiful items, but to make people feel seen, celebrated, and inspired.

SewPretty Designs was born from that vision. I specialize in custom embroidery, t-shirt transfers, and personalized pieces that speak to the heart. Every item is designed with intention, whether it's for a birthday, a brand launch, or just because. My goal is to create pieces that make you smile and proudly say, “That’s Sew Pretty!”

Taking the leap into entrepreneurship wasn’t easy, but I knew I wanted to build something of my own—something that represents me and serves others. As a Black woman in business, I take pride in creating a brand that uplifts, empowers, and brings a little extra joy to everyday life.

This is more than just a business to me—it’s a passion, a calling, and a whole vibe. And I’m so excited to share it with you.
